  4. This version fixes the install bug in 1.43.
  5.  
  6. Zippidy Do Da requires Windows 3.1.  If it is installed on a
  7. Windows 3.0 system, it will not run.  On versions of Windows
  8. prior to 3.11 it also requires SHARE.EXE to be loaded BEFORE
  9. starting Windows. Note, however, if you are using Windows 3.11,
  10. Windows for Workgroups or Windows 95 you do not need SHARE.EXE.

  12. This version adds support for Daylight Savings Time.

  22. Zippidy Do Da is a shareware program for Microsoft Windows 3.1
  23. or greater. It is NOT FREE.  You are granted a 30 day trial
  24. period to try Zippidy Do Da, to see if it fits your needs. If
  25. you continue to use it beyond the 30 day trial period you MUST
  26. license your copy from SMI Corporation.  If you purchased
  27. diskette(s) from a shareware vendor that contained Zippidy Do
  28. Da, you have only paid a disk duplication fee. You must still
  29. purchase Zippidy Do Da from SMI Corporation.

  31. Zippidy Do Da is a utility program that allows you to look up
  32. cities by zip code, area code, state, or city name.  We feel
  33. we have included much useful information in this release.
  34. However, as we continue to upgrade the program, we would be
  35. glad to hear suggestions from you about new features you would
  36. like to see included in a future release. Thank you for using

  39. The first time you run Zippidy Do Da, it will need to build
  40. its indexes. On an 80486 33MHz PC it will take less than 5
  41. minutes. You will need at least 4.5Mb available to build the
  42. indexes. If for some reason (power failure, etc.) the index
  43. build fails before it is completed you can try it again after
  44. you close other applications that may be running or free up
  45. some disk space.

  71. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

  73. If you received Zippidy Do Da as a ZIP file, you should find a
  74. .ZIP file called ZD143.ZIP (or ZIPDD.ZIP if you obtained the
  75. program from CompuServe). It will contain the files listed in
  76. the Packing List section of VENDINFO.DIZ.

  78. You should unzip the file to a directory of your hard disk and
  79. then run the install program. For example, if you unzip to a
  80. directory called C:\INST then you would execute SETUP.EXE from
  81. the C:\INST directory. If you use File Manager then double
  82. click the file SETUP.EXE in the C:\INST directory. If you use
  83. Program Manager then select FILE/RUN... and enter 
  84. C:\INST\SETUP.EXE and click OK. Then just follow the screen
  85. prompts.

  87. If you received Zippidy Do Da as ZIP files, you should find
  88. the files listed in PACKING LIST section included. If any of
  89. the files are missing you do not have a complete package and
  90. it will not install or run.
